Allswell is a high quality mattress brand owned by Walmart and founded in 2018. The brand received many accolades upon launch. Real Simple explains that Allswell provides high end looks at reasonable prices. As you’ll see in our reviews, Allswell definitely lives up to this remark. They are cheaper than many other comparable models on the market. They also feel great, too. The Strategist (New York Magazine) says that the Allswell mattress models are the best firm mattresses available on the market.

Allswell has four mattress models available. They are called The Allswell, The Allswell Luxe Hybrid, The Brick, and The Allswell Supreme. These differ in certain characteristics, such as material build and firmness rating. They are also similar in certain ways. For example, they all have a hybrid build, meaning that they have coils and at least one foam layer. Regardless of their similarities and differences, though, Allswell mattresses are all great choices for sleep.

    6. Why Does Your Allswell Mattress Matter?

    The Allswell Mattress

The first Allswell mattress on our list is named after the company itself, so you know it’s a good choice. Every Allswell mattress has distinct features that sets it apart from the rest. For the Allswell, that includes coils, cooling properties, and signature quilting. This Allswell mattress is the budget option of this list, but the quality is very much still there.

    Coils

Rather than being one solid piece that moves all together, this Allswell mattress contains coils. Each coil is individually wrapped. This makes a difference in motion transfer. When you move around in the night, you only affect the coils you are currently laying on. This is very helpful when you have a partner that sleeps next to you. You no longer have to worry about disturbing each other’s sleep with movement. The National Sleep Foundation describes this Allswell mattress as having a balanced feel because of these coils.

    Cooling Properties

Most people sleep better in cooler temperatures, and research backs this fact up according to Discover Magazine. This Allswell mattress takes a bit of an unusual, but very effective approach to the cooling mattress. Rather than using a basic cooling gel, this mattress has elements that change the chemistry of the mattress to give it that cooling property.

There are two ways that Allswell turns this into a cooling mattress. The first, and more typical way that they do this is by including a cooling gel. However, Allswell brings an interesting twist to this by infusing copper into the gel. Copper has great thermal conductivity according to the Copper Alliance. This makes it an excellent mattress topper. Thermal conductivity is a property that allows the mattress to pull heat away from your body while you sleep.

The second way that Allswell makes this mattress topper good for cooling is by using graphite. Like copper, graphite also has very high thermal conductivity for mattresses. Heat is pulled from your body and distributed throughout the layers of the mattress. This keeps you cool during the night and prevents your mattress from feeling too warm in certain spots.

    Memory Foam

Both the graphite and the copper gel are infused into a memory foam mattress topper. Healthline identifies multiple benefits of foam mattresses. For instance, they’re softer than other materials, they mold to your body, and they provide motion isolation. This improves the motion isolation effect of the coils.

    Quilting

The last signature feature of this Allswell mattress is the quilted top panel. Allswell uses their signature A quilting to make this a very comfortable mattress type.

    Other Characteristics

One of the biggest appeals of this mattress is its price. Compared to similar mattress models, such as the Nectar mattress, this Allswell mattress is a much cheaper option that doesn’t lack any of the quality.

It has a medium-firm feel and a 4.5 star rating on the Allswell website. There are numerous benefits to a medium-firm mattress. For instance, it helps with lower back pain and enhances proper spinal alignment. It also decreases motion transfer and provides more edge support. Of course, there are many other benefits as well.

This mattress comes in six different sizes. They are twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king. Prices range from $339 to $539.

    Overall Thoughts

This is the most basic of the Allswell mattresses. However, it is still a high quality mattress for a low price. It is a good choice for back sleepers because of its firmness. This mattress has great cooling qualities and it is very comfortable thanks to the memory foam. This is a pretty basic model, so you may want to look at the others if you’re looking for more premium features.

    The Luxe Hybrid Allswell Mattress

Next on our list is the Allswell Luxe Hybrid mattress. This one costs a little more, but it does have more features to back it up. For sure, the signature of this Allswell mattress is its foam content. There are three different foam layers. And underneath those foam layers is a layer of individual coils, just like we saw with the previous Allswell mattress.

    High Density Foam

The first layer is one inch of high density foam. The National Sleep Foundation details some of the benefits of high density foam. One of these benefits is higher durability. The higher the density of the foam, the longer lifespan it will have. Another benefit of high density foam is pressure relief. This is a great mattress choice for people that frequently experience muscle and joint pain.

    Copper Gel Memory Foam

The next layer is two inches of copper gel infused memory foam. This has the same cooling benefit as it has with the previous Allswell mattress. So, it’s a great choice for someone who’s a hot sleeper. You also get the other memory foam comfort benefits as well.

Beyond the comfort that it provides, copper gel memory foam also has health benefits. Copper works as an antimicrobial agent. So you won’t have to worry anymore about bacteria floating around in your mattress. Copper affects cell respiration and destroys DNA and RNA inside of the bacterial cells, causing them to die and preventing reproduction.

    Quilting with Cooling Swirlfoam

The final layer of support foam is the quilted top panel intertwined with SwirlFoam, which also has cooling properties, and signature A quilting. This is another reason why this is the best mattress for hot sleepers. Swirlfoam is a type of memory foam that is ventilated and has a cooling gel structure.

    Other Characteristics

Like the previous Allswell mattress, the Allswell hybrid mattress is a lot cheaper than comparable mattresses on the market. Size options include twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king. There are also pride themed options available, which have the Allswell logo printed on the hybrid mattress in rainbow lettering. This is unique because none of the other Allswell mattress models on our list have this option. Prices range from $445 to $849. The prices do not differ between the regular and pride models.

This mattress also has a medium-firm feeling. It has a 4.4 star rating on the Allswell website. This is the softest mattress on our list. So, you don’t lose the benefits of a medium-firm mattress, but you get the appeal of sleeping on a softer surface.

    Overall Thoughts

This mattress is the softest on our list, so it is a better choice for side sleepers or multiple position sleepers than the other mattresses. The softness comes from the multiple layers of memory foam that this mattress has. It is also very durable and has cooling properties like the other mattresses on our list. It is one of the cheaper options as well.

    The Brick Allswell Mattress

The Brick Allswell mattress is named as such because it is the firmest on the list. This is a huge appeal to some people that prefer really firm mattresses for sleep. It has coils and edge support like all of the other mattresses on this list in addition to the great features that make it stand out from the rest.

    High Density Foam

This high density foam layer is similar to the Allswell Luxe, but its thickness does differ. This Allswell mattress has a two inch thick high density foam layer. This gives you a bit more support than the Luxe does.

    Copper Gel Memory Foam

Like the high density foam layer, the copper gel infused memory foam layer in this Allswell mattress is the same as it is on the Luxe Hybrid mattress. However, the thickness is different. The copper gel memory foam layer is one inch thick.

    Firm Top Layer

Now, the reason for this mattress’ name is its top layer. This is the firmest mattress on this list, and it is perfect for people who need extra support for their muscles and joints.

    Other Characteristics

This mattress is definitely made for a particular group of people. It has a medium-firm feel, but it is the firmest of the four mattresses we’re reviewing today. It has a 4.3 star rating on the Allswell website.

This Allswell mattress is available in twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king. The prices range from $449 to $849.

    Overall Thoughts

This mattress, out of all the Allswell mattresses, is ideal for stomach sleepers. Stomach sleepers benefit from firmer mattresses. Since this is the firmest mattress on our list, this is the best choice if you tend to sleep on your stomach. This mattress doesn’t have as much foam, since it is designed to be firm, but it is still very comfortable for any type of sleeper. It is decently priced as well.

    The Supreme Allswell Mattress

Now for our final and most premium option on this list. The Supreme Allswell mattress is the most expensive on this list but it still costs less than comparable market items, such as the Saatva Classic and other Saatva mattress models.

Some of the features of this Allswell mattress are similar to the other Allswell mattress models on this list, though they are definitely upgraded. For instance, this Allswell mattress has a quilted top panel with the signature A quilting that the other mattresses have.

    Coils

The individually wrapped coils in this mattress are reinforced with quantum edge technology. This helps to minimize motion transfer and is higher quality than the coils found on the other Allswell mattress models.

    Energex Foam

This is a type of memory foam mattress topper that has graphite and copper gel to keep you cool during the night. In addition, it also has moisture wicking capability. This means that it can draw moisture away from your body. If you’re a sleeper that has night sweats, this technology is very beneficial to you.

Not only does it keep you cool while you sleep, but this two inch layer provides a good amount of support and pressure relief as well.

    Graphite and Copper Memory Foam

The next layer is a graphite and copper memory foam. Again, this provides comfort by molding to your body and by keeping you cool while you sleep. It also has the same antimicrobial properties that you saw with the other copper infused mattresses on our list.

Additionally, graphite is a graphene based material. Studies have shown that graphene also has cytotoxic properties. This means that they are toxic toward bacteria. So, this increases the antibacterial effect of graphite in a mattress that you would see with just copper alone.

    Euro Top

This Allswell mattress has a Euro Top layer which differs from the typical pillow top layer that you see on many mattresses. This type of Allswell mattress topper differs in several ways. Pillow tops and Euro tops are both made from either fiber or foam. The first difference is that Euro tops are sewn flush to the edge of the mattress rather than on top of the Allswell mattress. This gives it a flatter look than mattresses with pillow tops. Euro tops are firmer on their edges and softer in the middle. They are a denser material, which provides more support for pressure points on the body.

    Other Characteristics

Like the other mattresses on our list, this Allswell mattress is cheaper compared to similar models on the market. It has a medium-firm feel and is right around the middle of the firmness scale compared to other Allswell mattress models on our list.

This Allswell mattress is available in twin, twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king. Prices range from $749 to $1,249.

    Overall Thoughts

This is definitely the luxury model on our list. It is the most expensive of the four models, but it is still very decently priced. This medium-firm mattress is a great choice for back sleepers. It has top of the line features and it is sure to satisfy the pickiest of customers.

Additional Allswell Mattress Features and Benefits

The first thing you should know about this company is that they don’t just offer mattresses. For example, you can purchase the Allswell mattress topper models that we’ve discussed on their own if you’re simply looking for a mattress topper rather than a full mattress.

Regarding shipping, Allswell offers free ground shipping on any order over $35. This includes shipping in 48 contiguous states and Washington DC, with California being the only exception. Fast shipping with two day delivery options is also available.

Allswell has a 10 year limited warranty on their mattresses, with the exception of crib mattresses. Each household can return the mattress one time per year.

You’ll have plenty of time to figure out if you need to return the mattress, too. Allswell offers a 100 night free trial. This also excludes their crib mattresses.

Allswell provides mattress removal so that you can easily get your new Allswell mattress into your home. This does have an additional fee of $149, but it could be worth it to eliminate the stress of having to remove the mattress on your own. Allswell offers free mattress removal with the purchase of an Allswell mattress in California.

There are several financing options available for Allswell mattress orders over $250. This applies to certain qualifying customers. In addition, Allswell has various payment plans available with zero percent APR. As we’ve mentioned, Allswell has very competitive prices. As the American Sleep Association points out about mattress prices, you could expect to pay more than $2,000 for top of the line mattresses from some companies.

Why Does Your Allswell Mattress Matter?

Many people do not realize it but mattresses are extremely important for sleep quality and overall health. This is proven by scientific studies and also by subjective opinions of sleepers. One poll indicated that 92 percent of people find their mattress to be a significant factor in their sleep quality.

There are multiple benefits of having a good mattress. Some of them include stress reduction, pain relief, hypoallergenic characteristics which lend to better breathing quality, and more restful sleep overall.
