The Luxe Classic Mattress

The Allswell Luxe Hybrid mattress is a 12-inch-thick hybrid innerspring mattress with a quilted cover and three foam comfort layers. The first comfort layer is made of 1 inch of quilted foam, infused with graphite and copper gel to help regulate temperature. Under this layer are 2 inches of high-density memory foam, which contours to the body for additional pressure relief.

Next, 8 inches of pocketed coils deliver extra support and help prevent excessive sinkage. This layer also promotes airflow through the mattress to help keep sleepers cool. The coils are individually wrapped in fabric pockets, which serve two functions: Minimizing motion transfer between coils and reducing noise when the bed is bearing weight.

Atop this coil support core is 1 inch of high-density polyfoam designed to reinforce the edge of the mattress so sleepers can use its total surface area without feeling like they will roll-off.

The Allswell Hybrid Mattress

Allswell mattresses are budget-friendly, and the Allswell mattress is no exception. Even though it’s a relatively low-priced model, it’s still backed by the much more expensive Casper brand, which owns Allswell. 

The Allswell is a foam mattress designed with comfort in mind. It has three layers of foam – two layers of polyfoam plus a layer of memory foam and a coil system beneath them all. The top layer of polyfoam is more of a comfort layer than anything else. In addition, it’s got an egg crate design that adds an extra bit of pressure relief without taking away from the overall support offered by the bed.

The second layer of polyfoam is a transitional layer between your body and the underlying support cores. This prevents you from feeling your weight too heavily on the coils.

The cover is stretchy polyester knit, which provides a little more give than standard covers. This combination results in a soft but supportive feel that should work well for many people. 

It has a soft neutral-foam feel that is extremely comfortable and accommodating for most sleepers. It should be suitable for side sleepers who weigh under 230 pounds. Heavier back and stomach sleepers may not have enough support from this model. And the Allswell has a 10″ profile and comes in two firmness levels: Luxury Firm (6) and Soft (5).

The Brick Mattress

It’s 14 inches thick, a hybrid combination of coils and foam, and it comes with a 100-night risk-free trial period. The first thing you’ll notice when you unwrap it is its Euro top, a layer of quilted padding that makes the top of the mattress look like a pillow.

The middle layer is Energex foam, designed to have the same responsiveness as latex but without the allergy problems associated with natural materials. It’s 2 inches thick. A transition layer of high-density memory foam is underneath that that helps keep you from sinking in too much and feeling stuck.

Finally, on the bottom is a layer of pocketed coils that provide support and allow air to move freely through the mattress so you don’t get too hot while sleeping.

The cover of this mattress is soft but firm-it resists tearing and looks great after multiple washings. The fabric has been treated with silver to help prevent the buildup of bacteria, and the European pillow top provides extra comfort while also helping with airflow to keep you cool at night.

While customers can return their mattress as soon as 30 days after receiving it, Allswell requests that they not send back the mattress until they have slept on it for at least 30 days before initiating a return. Returns are free of charge, though some customers may be required to cover part of the shipping costs depending on how far they live from an Allswell distribution center or one of its affiliated charities. All models are protected with 10-year warranties against manufacturer defects and premature sagging.

How Long Does It Take for an Allswell Mattress To Expand?

Our mattresses are vacuum-sealed and flat-packed in a box, so they’re super easy to transport. When you’re ready to start sleeping on it, carry the crate near your bed and cut open the first layer of plastic.
